Stuttgart Airport is located 13km (8 miles) south of the city centre. It is a major hub for low cost carriers such as Germanwings and Air Berlin, and serves domestic and European destinations. It is Germany’s seventh busiest airport, handling around 10 million passengers yearly through its four terminals.

Airport facilities: These include conference and banqueting facilities, a business centre, shops, restaurants, bars, banks, ATMs, bureaux de change, tourist information and car hire from Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National and Sixt.

Transport to the city: S-Bahn rail services run frequently from the airport to Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), journey time is less than 30 minutes. Taxis and regular buses also serve the terminals.
