getting around,
Lisbon is best explored by foot, but if you get tired of walking, the metro, bus or tram systems offer easy and efficient options. Tickets can be purchased at one of the many kiosks around the city or from the ICEP tourist office. A single ticket costs €0.90 (US$1.25) for a shorter journey and €1.15 (US$1.60) for a longer journey, or €3.95 (US$5.45) for a day-pass. Another option is a Passe Turistico, valid for trams, buses and the metro. The price depends on the number of days it lasts. Buses and trams run everyday from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
