How to get to the city from O'Hare Airport?, Access Road
The main airport is O'Hare International, located 18 miles northwest of downtown. You can get to downtown Chicago via the airport shuttle for about $25 one way, although the fare may be lowered dependeing on the number of passengers traveling.
The cheapest option is to take the L (subwas) train (Blue line) located in the lower level of Terminal 2 for $2,25 one way.
Taxis run on meters and you can expect to pay $35 -40 tor a trip donwtown.
