The High Line - a new park on an old railway track, High Line Park

Since June, New York has been richer by one attraction: the High Line Park. The new park has been developed on the old railway tracks in the Meatpacking and Chelsea districts, from Gansevoort Street to 20th Street, spanning an area of over 2km. Another section is scheduled to open before the end of the year. The park provides a sanctuary in the otherwise fairly hectic city of New York and even provides benches and lounge chairs for visitors to recline and relax on, while a sun deck boasts a beautiful view of the Hudson River!
