Ein Wimbledon Besuch in London ist nicht unmöglich,
If you thought that getting into Wimbledon was impossible unless you booked a year in advance or queued all night with your sleeping bag, then we've got news for you!
Every year, thousands of in-the-know Londoners visit Wimbledon for a fraction of the normal ticket price, without having to queue at all.
So what's their secret?
Well, they've discovered that every single day of the tournament, around 6000 ground tickets are available at the turnstiles for a very reasonable price: just £17 in the first week, and from as little as £8 in the second week!
What's more, if you arrive at the ground at around 5pm, not only are these tickets reduced to a bargain £11 or less, but there's also virtually no queue - you can walk straight in! (Tip: make sure you've got enough money on you - all tickets have to be paid for in cash, so don't get caught out).
Although ground tickets don't allow access to Centre Court or Court No. 1, you'll still have access to No. 2 Court, as well as unreserved seating and standing at all the other courts! And as play can continue until well after 8pm, even by arriving this late you'll still get to enjoy a good few hours of world-class tennis.
You can find full details of ticket prices at http://aeltc.wimbledon.org/en_GB/about/tickets/tickets_prices.html. The website also has up-to-the-minute details of the weather conditions as well as who's playing on which court, so you can plan your visit and make a strategic beeline for the most high-profile matches!
Armed with this information, you can enjoy the unique atmosphere and excitement of Wimbledon with minimal expense and no stress.
